Hillsborough County needs experienced business leadership to help grow our economy and create jobs.
We don’t need promises, we need action. I have rolled up my sleeves and started to work on issues facing our community such as job creation and helping our small businesses stay afloat during tough economic times.
My economic development plan includes reaching out to our business community and helping with their most pressing needs. As part of my campaign, I plan to hold a series of Small Business Summits with experts who can offer critical information such as how to establish working credit lines and increasing awareness of available tax credits.
I’ll use my campaign to continue being a child advocate and take every opportunity to speak about the 4,000 children in our county who are part of the child welfare system. We need quality foster parents and Guardian Ad Litems that insure the safety and well being of our future leaders.
We can revitalize our economy by empowering individuals, not governments, and by preserving opportunity for families and innovators.
My commitment to you is this: that, win or lose, your support for my campaign will bear fruit in the form of jobs and quality care for our children in need. We can choose to shrug our shoulders and float along with a stagnant economy, assuming that our social and economic problems are out of our control - Or, we can take the position that we are responsible for our own future, as well as that of our children and grandchildren.
If you believe in this vision for Hillsborough County, I would be honored to have your support for my campaign.

JOBS & THE ECONOMY—As part of my campaign, I plan to hold a series of Small Business Summits with experts who can offer critical information on establishing working credit lines and available tax credits.
FAMILIES—As a Guardian Ad Litum and Founder of Angels for Foster Kids, I’ve learned that strong families are directly related to strong businesses and a healthy economy.
GOVERNMENT AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY—As I conservative, I believe we are responsible for our own future, as well as that of our children and grandchildren. What a radical idea! The belief that we control our own destiny shouldn’t be outside the mainstream but it has become a foreign concept in the age of government bailouts. However, conservatives who share this belief are in good company.
